Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Cformly for using the app, the extension, and this website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Cformly mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Cformly is a filing assistant that helps hotels, guest houses, and individual hosts ("Hosts") prepare and file FRRO Form C (Foreigner Registration / Form III) as required under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025 and related regulations.

Cformly is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office), the Bureau of Immigration, or the Government of India.

The accommodation provider remains responsible for verifying each filing, meeting the arrival and departure reporting deadlines, operating its official account, completing submission, and retaining the records required by law. Cformly remains responsible for its own obligations under applicable law and these Terms.

Non-submission may attract action under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025. The notified compounding amount for non-submission under section 8 or Rule 17 is ₹50,000 in each case. This is not the Act's maximum punishment, and compounding remains subject to section 25 and the competent authority's decision.

5. Privacy and Data Handling

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All guest data is encrypted at rest on the device using SQLCipher (AES-256); document capture and OCR run entirely on-device. The backend holds only host account and billing identifiers; no guest document data. No third-party AI services are used.

Credit Purchases and Payments

Cformly credit purchases are final and non-refundable after delivery, except where required by applicable law, the payment provider or payment network, or Apple/Google policies. Refunds or corrections remain available for duplicate or unauthorized charges, failed payments, and failure by Cformly to deliver purchased credits. Free monthly credits have no cash value and are not refundable. There is no discretionary self-service refund promise; store, provider, network, and statutory decisions override this policy. Each property owner receives five free credits per IST calendar month, shared across the owner's properties and authorized workers. Paid credits do not expire. Packs are 5 credits for ₹99, 10 for ₹149, 50 for ₹666, and 100 for ₹999. Payment credentials are collected only by the relevant hosted payment provider or app store; Cformly does not receive raw card or UPI credentials. Owner approval and native-reader review are required before payment activation.

6. Data Accuracy

The App uses OCR to extract data from passports and visas. OCR is not 100% accurate. The Host must review all extracted data before submission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, confidentiality breaches, or applicable data-protection obligations. Subject to those exclusions, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and Cformly's aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid or payable during the preceding twelve months. This does not excuse Cformly for loss directly caused by its breach.

8. Contact

Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours; we aim to resolve within one month. This is an operational target, not a promise of any statutory outcome.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. The contracting entity and principal place of business must be inserted before public release.
