Set up Cformly on your phone

Install the app, add your property, then file in your own official FRRO session. A desktop extension is optional.

  1. 1 · Install the app on your phone

    Get Cformly from Google Play or the App Store and sign in with your email. It's invite-only internal testing for now — your property's invite link arrives by email. Add your property once — the address, FRRO office, and contact details pre-fill every form after that.

  2. Optional · Add the desktop extension

    On the computer you file from, install the free Cformly extension from the Chrome Web Store. It works only on the FRRO portal page you have open. During filing, copy reviewed guest fields to the provider-controlled OS clipboard and explicitly paste them into the extension where available; otherwise transcribe them manually. No email, messaging, generic sharing, PDF export, or server relay is used. CAPTCHA and the guest photo remain with you.

  3. 3 · File your first guest

    Scan and review the guest on the phone, then open the official FRRO portal inside Cformly. The app fills the reviewed fields and attaches the selected guest photo. You review, solve the CAPTCHA, and press Save.

Optional desktop extension: first filing

  1. Phone: open the guest and tap Push to Portal.
  2. Phone: tap Push to Portal, copy reviewed fields to the provider-controlled OS clipboard, and explicitly paste into the extension where available; otherwise transcribe manually. Do not email, message, share, or export guest data.
  3. Computer: open the FRRO portal, start a Form III, press the navy Cformly button in the bottom-right corner, and paste the fields into its box.
  4. Computer: attach the guest photo (drop it on the panel) and type the security code.
  5. Computer: press Save and Continue. The panel shows the Application ID big, and as a QR code.
  6. Phone: tap Scan from Computer and point the camera at the QR code. Done — the guest is marked filed.

When something doesn't work

The clipboard button says it can't read anything?
Paste the fields into the box instead — the navy Cformly button (bottom-right corner) on the portal page has one too.
The photo won't attach?
In-app, Cformly advances only after the portal says “Photo successfully uploaded.” Any other alert means the upload failed; choose a supported JPG within the portal size limit and retry. In the desktop flow, attach the photo yourself.
The form filled but some fields are empty?
The panel lists exactly which fields need attention. Fix those on the portal page before saving.

Capture and OCR run on the phone. During a user-initiated filing, reviewed fields and the selected guest photo go directly to the official FRRO portal through the in-app filing view or desktop extension. Cformly does not relay or store guest data; the host reviews, solves the CAPTCHA, and presses Save.
